Soccer Game Preview: Tonopah Valley vs. Glendale Prep Academy

The Tonopah Valley Phoenix will face off against the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Tonopah Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Tonopah Valley's offense. They lost 8-0 to Odyssey Institute on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Glendale Prep Academy kept a clean sheet against Wickenburg on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Wranglers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Griffins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by three goals or more this season.

Calliah Som and Elayna Quick scored all three of Glendale Prep Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Glendale Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Tonopah Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
