Basketball Recap: Racine Lutheran Comes Up Short

Racine Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Dominican Knights 50-18. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while the Knights are ranked 107th).

Racine Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Dominican, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Racine Lutheran will welcome Racine Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Racine Lutheran is facing Racine Park at the right time seeing as Racine Park is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Dominican, they will face off against St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
