Softball Recap: Tatum Eagles vs. Waskom Wildcats
Tatum won the last time they faced Waskom, and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tatum Eagles put the hurt on the Waskom Wildcats with a sharp 14-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Tatum.
Tatum got a massive performance out of Sanyia Cotton, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Aundrea Bradley, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Tatum has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-18 record this season. As for Waskom, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Tatum will head out on the road to face off against West Rusk at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Waskom, they will be playing at home against Troup at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
