Soccer Recap: Foster Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Foster was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of the Cedarcrest Red Wolves by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Cedarcrest this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

Foster's goal came courtesy of Alan Zarate, who's now up to three this season.

Foster has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season. As for Cedarcrest, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4-1.

Foster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedarcrest, they will challenge Lindbergh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
