Croatan hadn't done well against Havelock recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cougars came out on top against the Rams by a score of 14-7. The 14-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Croatan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andrew Boucher, who rushed for 96 yards and one score, and also picked up 42 receiving yards.

Despite the loss, Havelock saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Andrew WIlliams threw for 103 yards and one touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards.

Croatan pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 35.8 points thus far. As for Havelock, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
