Heartland Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Western Reserve proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won nine in a row.

Western Reserve never let Heartland Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-7, 25-15.

Chloeigh Endsley paced Western Reserve's offense, picking up 16 kills. Endsley got some help from Quincy Miller and her 18 assists. Endsley also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mara Kale, each putting up four.

Western Reserve's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Heartland Christian, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10.

Western Reserve wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Open Door Christian on the 23rd. Heartland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
