Mason Leiterman posted a new career-low in hits on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Leiterman's strong effort led Bartlett over Larkin and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks are 8-2 against the Royals going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
