Basketball Game Preview: Parkston Trojans vs. Gregory Gorillas

Having just played yesterday, the Parkston Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Gregory Gorillas at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Thursday, everything went Parkston's way against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket as Parkston made off with a 65-40 win.

Meanwhile, Gregory waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Titans, posting a 70-34 victory.

Gregory pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.2 points. As for Parkston, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Parkston came up short against Gregory in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 60-48. Can Parkston avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
