Basketball Recap: Sam Houston Comes Up Short

Sam Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 60-49 to the Edison Golden Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-68 back in December of 2024.

Sam Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Edison, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-14.

Sam Houston will challenge Highlands at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edison, they will square off against Fox Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
