Basketball Game Preview: Overland Christian Eagle vs. Christian Learning Center Mustangs

The Overland Christian Eagle just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Christian Learning Center Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Overland Christian is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Overland Christian was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 34-33 to Clinton Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Eagle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 460th in Kansas, while the Patriots are ranked 227th in Missouri).

Meanwhile, Christian Learning Center ended up a good deal behind Plaza Heights Christian Academy on Thursday and lost 61-47.

Overland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Christian Learning Center, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-8.

Overland Christian came up short against Christian Learning Center when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 46-42. Can Overland Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
