Volleyball Recap: Scotia-Glenville Takes a Loss

Scotia-Glenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gloversville Huskies/Dragons. The Tartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Huskies/Dragons from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Scotia-Glenville actually scored more points across those five sets (99-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-19, 25-22, 13-25, 15-8.

Scotia-Glenville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gloversville, the win got them back to even at 2-2-3.

Coming up, Scotia-Glenville will face off against Glens Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gloversville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
