Basketball Recap: Pennfield Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

While Pennfield didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 57-55 win from a begrudging Panthers squad. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted against the Cardinals since March 16, 2021.

Pennfield pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Coldwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Pennfield Panthers duke it out with the Central Bearcats at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th. Coldwater will take on Covenant Christian in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
