Jackson North Side entered their tilt with Sycamore on Saturday with eight consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top against the Sycamore War Eagles by a score of 66-59. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the War Eagles are ranked 220th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jackson North Side pushed their record up to 25-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.9 points over those games. As for Sycamore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.

Looking ahead, Jackson North Side and Jackson South Side will meet in a classic North v. South matchup on Tuesday. Jackson North Side has given up an average of 50.9 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Sycamore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
