Football Game Preview: St. Vincent de Paul vs. Madison Park Academy

Madison Park Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Saturday they take on St. Vincent de Paul at 1:00 PM. Madison Park Academy come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Madison Park Academy ended up forfeiting their game against California School for the Deaf 0-2 two weeks ago. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Madison Park Academy.

Meanwhile, St. Vincent de Paul have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past California School for the Deaf with a 20-14 victory. The St. Vincent de Paul offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.

St. Vincent de Paul's win lifted them to 5-3 while Madison Park Academy's loss dropped them down to 0-5. We'll see if Madison Park Academy are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting contest than their last) when the teams meet up.
