Soccer Game Preview: East Laurens vs. Bleckley County

The East Laurens Falcons will face off against the Bleckley County Royals at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. East Laurens will be strutting in after a victory while Bleckley County will be coming in after a loss.

Bleckley County will be up against a hot East Laurens team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. East Laurens never let Washington County get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Wednesday. East Laurens' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Despite a strong season so far, Bleckley County has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Dodge County. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Bleckley County couldn't quite close it out.

Bleckley County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for East Laurens, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Everything went East Laurens' way against Bleckley County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as East Laurens made off with a 4-0 win. Will East Laurens repeat their success, or does Bleckley County has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
