Soccer Game Preview: Bloomington vs. Colton

The Bloomington Bruins will face off against the Colton Yellowjackets at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bloomington is headed into the game having not lost since December 18 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Rialto finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday. The Bruins had to tread lightly for part of the match as George Moreno and Isaac Sandoval were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Colton's offense. They fell just short of Summit by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colton now has a losing record at 5-6-4. Bloomington's draw makes their record 5-4-3 this season.

Bloomington came up short against Colton in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Bloomington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
