Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Booker's 12th in Last 14 Outings

Booker won against Kelton last Tuesday with 44 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Booker Kiowas enjoyed a cozy 44-27 victory over the Fort Elliott Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-55 back in January.

It was another big night for Reydn Rosales, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last three times he's played. Julian Barton was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals.

Booker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 14 consecutive matchups.

Booker has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Fort Elliott, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Booker will be playing at home against Darrouzett at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Booker's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home while Darrouzett has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. As for Fort Elliott, they will venture away from home to take on Miami at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
