Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McLean). They had just enough and edged out the Wakefield Warriors 35-32. The victory continues a trend for the Highlanders in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Wakefield's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Mason, who picked up 136 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Mason's longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards. Judah Connor was another key passer, throwing for 272 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.

McLean's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Wakefield, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

As of now, neither McLean nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
