Basketball Recap: Walhalla Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walhalla can now relate to. They took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Powdersville Patriots on Monday. The Razorbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landen Sullivan was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-16 en route to 26 points and four steals for Powdersville. That's the most points Sullivan has posted since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Carson Harris, who scored six points.

Walhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Powdersville, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.

Walhalla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Powdersville, they will square off against Mountain View Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Stars will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
