Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pittsburg). They strolled past the Labette County Grizzlies with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-38. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Dragons with their most commanding win of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Labette County lost, don't look at Kegan Bates. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 13 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds. Bates has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tucker Rush, who posted five points and six boards.

The win got Pittsburg back to even at 4-4-1. As for Labette County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
