Basketball Game Preview: Queen's Grant Stallions vs. SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles + Official Tickets

The Queen's Grant Stallions will venture away from home to take on the SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. SouthLake Christian Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Queen's Grant, who comes in off a win.

While Stallions fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. Everything went their way against Victory Christian Center on Monday as they made off with a 56-36 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-16.

Za'Miya Bynum had an outrageously good game as she shot 71% from the field en route to 27 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. The game was her 27th in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Misa Garris, who went 7-for-11 on her way to 16 points.

Meanwhile, SouthLake Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 55-34 to Greensboro Day School on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bengals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
