Volleyball Recap: El Camino Wildcats vs. Otay Ranch Mustangs
El Camino saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Otay Ranch Mustangs.
Grace Houston paced El Camino's offense, picking up five kills. Houston got some help from Jaida Garcia and her seven assists.
Otay Ranch was led to victory by Aryannah Garingo and Daeja Lewis. Garingo had six digs and two aces, while Lewis had five digs and two aces.
El Camino's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Otay Ranch, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
El Camino wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Liberty Charter on the 29th. As for Otay Ranch, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Chula Vista on the 29th.
