After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saratoga, MacDonald was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Fremont Firebirds as they made off with a 12-6 victory. With that win, the Condor brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.
Ileyah Sanchez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Sanchez was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
