Football Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Loss

Tri-Valley blew El Paso-Gridley out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday El Paso-Gridley got their revenge. The Vikings fell just short of the Titans by a score of 24-21.

Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for El Paso-Gridley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Tri-Valley will take on Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the Maroons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for El Paso-Gridley, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Eureka at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
