Basketball Recap: Wylie Skates Past Naaman Forest with Ease

Wylie won the last time they faced Naaman Forest and things went their way on Friday too. The Wylie Pirates blew past the Naaman Forest Rangers, posting a 70-22 win. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Rangers are ranked 1237th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wylie has also been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Naaman Forest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.
