Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Thomasville's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Thomasville won the last time they faced Bacon County, and Harmony Bryant did her part to make sure it happened again. The Thomasville Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Bacon County Raiders 58-29 thanks in part to Bryant, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 17 games she's played.

Rhaniya Wilson was another key player, putting up five points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Thomasville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Bacon County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.

Coincidentally, Thomasville and Bacon County will both be playing Worth County the next time they take the court. Thomasville will head out to face Worth County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Bacon County will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 18th.
