Anson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down the Haskell Indians 26-8. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Hunter Teichelman threw for 213 yards and one touchdown. Malachi St. John was his top target, picking up 110 receiving yards. On the ground, Ethan Lozano rushed for 62 yards.

Anson's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Haskell, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anson will host Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' defense has only allowed 8.8 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Haskell, they will square off against Petrolia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matches.
