Milpitas hadn't done well against Gunn recently (they were 0-8-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Milpitas Trojans never let the Gunn Titans onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans who have now won three games in a row.

Ryan Saxelby and Joshua Primicias scored both of Milpitas' goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Milpitas' record is now 6-2-6. As for Gunn, they moved to 6-4-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Monta Vista the next time they take the pitch. Gunn will host Monta Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Milpitas will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
