North Duplin entered their tilt with Spring Creek on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gators. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-18.

Abigeal Norris paced North Duplin's offense, picking up four kills. Norris got some help from Lilly Fulghum and her 12 assists. Fulghum was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 13 aces.

North Duplin's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Spring Creek, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Duplin will head out to square off against Hobbton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spring Creek, they will venture away from home to challenge Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
