Recap: Lee Generals vs. Mae Jemison Jaguars
The Lee Generals fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Mae Jemison Jaguars on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to the Jaguars. Lee was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mae Jemison apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Dakarion Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds for Mae Jemison. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bryant has scored all season. Jalen Glover was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and two steals.
Lee has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Mae Jemison, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.
Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mae Jemison will head out on the road to square off against East Limestone at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (East Limestone is ranked 74th, while Mae Jemison is ranked 81st).
