Palos Verdes dropped down to 8-2 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 25-13 to the San Pedro Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-12 on Monday.

Although Palos Verdes took the loss, they still got scores from Ava McGovern and Addie Eroen.

As for San Pedro, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 27.2 points this season.

Maddison Adrid was her usual excellent self, throwing for 216 yards and four touchdowns. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last five games she's played. Dahlia Davila was Adrid's top target, picking up 41 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Palos Verdes didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 27-12 loss against Banning on the 30th. As for San Pedro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 33-20 defeat against Redondo Union on the 30th.
