While Wagner put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Natalia. The Thunderbirds were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Mustangs. The Thunderbirds' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kaysen Mattison made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Mattison was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Wagner was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .591. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Wagner's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wagner will challenge Boerne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Natalia, they will take on Randolph at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
