Football Game Preview: Cleburne County Tigers vs. White Plains Wildcats + How To Watch

The Cleburne County Tigers will take on the White Plains Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Cleburne County nor White Plains posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Cleburne County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bullock County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 14-12 on Friday.

Although Cleburne County took the loss, they still got scores from LYRIC WARE and Cade Shubert.

Meanwhile, White Plains had to suffer through a 51-6 loss at the hands of Anniston. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 35th).

Cleburne County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points on average over those games. As for White Plains, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Cleburne County took a serious blow against White Plains in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 42-13. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
