Football Game Preview: Loyal/Greenwood vs. Stratford Tigers

Loyal/Greenwood will head out to challenge the Stratford Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Loyal/Greenwood has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Stratford will arrive with six straight victories.

On Friday, Loyal/Greenwood came up short against Weyauwega-Fremont and fell 35-22.

Meanwhile, Stratford was able to grind out a solid win over Amherst on Friday, taking the game 34-21.

Stratford's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Loyal/Greenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Loyal/Greenwood was dealt a bruising 43-8 defeat at the hands of Stratford when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can Loyal/Greenwood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
