Football Game Preview: Coral Springs Charter Panthers vs. Stoneman Douglas Eagles + Official Tickets

The Coral Springs Charter Panthers will head out to face off against the Stoneman Douglas Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Coral Springs Charter made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North Broward Prep, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 17-14 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stoneman Douglas). They were the clear victors by a 35-12 margin over Coral Springs on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Stoneman Douglas didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aidan McIntrye and Jonah Lenamon.

Coral Springs Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Stoneman Douglas, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Everything went Coral Springs Charter's way against Stoneman Douglas when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Coral Springs Charter made off with a 26-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
