Volleyball Preview: Chester Volcanoes vs. CORE Butte Lynx
The Chester Volcanoes will square off against the CORE Butte Lynx at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Chester was able to grind out a solid victory over Burney, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Volcanoes.

Meanwhile, everything went CORE Butte's way against Los Molinos on Thursday as CORE Butte made off with a 3-0 win.
CORE Butte was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21, 25-16.
Macey Ascherman had an outrageously good game as she had 11 digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Xitlali Gonzalez, who had 12 digs and two aces.
Chester's record now sits at 6-15. As for CORE Butte, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
