Volleyball Recap: Scottsburg Takes a Loss

Scottsburg lost against Center Grove back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors came up short against the Trojans, falling 3-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 25-6.

Scottsburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Center Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Scottsburg is set to face off against their familiar foe Jeffersonville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Center Grove will take on rival Columbus East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Trojans have won six straight at home dating back to last season, while the Olympians won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
