Greeley Central is 8-2 against Longmont since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Greeley Central Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Longmont Trojans at 11:30 a.m.

Greeley Central is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Severance just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silver Knights.

Meanwhile, Longmont posted their biggest victory since December 16, 2024 on Friday. They claimed a resounding 47-17 win over Skyline. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Trojans had established a 28 point advantage.

Longmont's victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Greeley Central, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Greeley Central barely slipped by Longmont in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 43-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greeley Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
