Softball Recap: Seaholm/Groves Gets the Win

Seaholm/Groves's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Berkley Bears by a score of 14-11. For the Maples, this counts as revenge for the 8-7 win the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2021.

Seaholm/Groves' victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Berkley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 18 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-22-1 record this season.

Seaholm/Groves will face off against Adams at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Highlanders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.85 runs per game on average), something the Maples will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Berkley, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-6 loss against Groves on the 20th.
