Soccer Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Borah Lions, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Meridian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho soccer rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Borah are ranked eighth).

Meridian was without their leading scorer, Nate Lynch, in Wednesday's match. With Lynch sidelined, the Warriors had to make some changes to the lineup. And.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Borah, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3-1.

Meridian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Borah, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Boise at 4:00 p.m.
