Softball Preview: Dacula Falcons vs. Buford Wolves

On Tuesday Dacula will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to challenge the Buford Wolves at 5:55 p.m. Dacula is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Dacula will head into Thursday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They came up short against Collins Hill, falling 12-4. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tatiana Loera made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she now stolen at least one in the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Buford had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They blew past the Bears 11-3. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by six runs or more this season.

Dacula's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Buford, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1.
