Football Game Preview: Regis vs. Jefferson

Jefferson will challenge Regis on the road at Regis H.S. at 7:00 PM on Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

After a big victory against Gaston two weeks ago, Jefferson came back down to earth. Jefferson took a hard 26-43 fall against Monroe. Jefferson's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Scio, Regis were happy to find some success last Friday. Regis took down Oakland 26-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for Regis as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Regis's victory lifted them to 1-4 while Jefferson's loss dropped them down to 4-1. We'll find out if Regis can add another positive mark to their record or if Jefferson can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Regis's step.
