Mountain View gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Battle Ground Tigers a 3-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Thunder in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Coming up, Mountain View will head out to challenge Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Battle Ground, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
