Baseball Recap: Windsor Locks Raiders vs. Northwest Catholic Lions
Windsor Locks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Northwest Catholic Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Windsor Locks of the 10-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2022.
Xavier Angel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Windsor Locks' defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Northwest Catholic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-11.
Windsor Locks will be playing in front of their home fans against Coventry at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
