DeSoto Central came tearing into Tuesday's match with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Oxford Chargers 70-51. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Chargers are ranked 62nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
