Soccer Game Preview: Arlington vs. Cascade

The Arlington Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Cascade Bruins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Arlington has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Arlington is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Shorecrest, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Arlington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Shorecrest are ranked 73rd).

Meanwhile, Cascade has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 21. They lost 7-2 to Lake Stevens on Tuesday.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-5. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-2.

Arlington couldn't quite get it done against Cascade when the teams last played back in March as they fell 4-2. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
