Football Game Preview: South Shelby vs. Putnam County

On Friday, Putnam County are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against South Shelby at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.

Putnam County took care of business in their home opener. They took their contest against Bishop LeBlond last Friday 26-12.

Meanwhile, South Shelby couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to Bowling Green by a decisive 24-43 margin.

Putnam County's win lifted them to 1-0 while South Shelby's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Putnam County can add another positive mark to their record or if South Shelby can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Putnam County's step.
