Volleyball Recap: Fairmont's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Fairmont waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wilmington Christian Academy Blazers.

Fairmont's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxson Routley, who had three digs and two aces. That's the most aces Routley has posted over his last six matches.

Fairmont's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Fairmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lakota West on the 26th. Wilmington Christian Academy has also already played their next game (against Carroll), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
