Game recap: Reagan High School Football Team defeats MacArthur

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Ty Summers threw two touchdowns and ran for two more as Reagan (San Antonio, Texas) bested MacArthur (San Antonio, Texas) 49-13 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a defensive touchdown in the first quarter, the Rattlers led 35-0 at the half.

Reagan grew its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. RHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Summers touchdown run.

Reagan's defense chipped in with 12 points of its own during the win.

Reagan entered the contest giving up 26.7 points per game this year.



When the two teams played each other last season, RHS came away with a 21-6 victory.

The defeat comes as a step back for MacArthur, who notched a 35-24 victory over Roosevelt in its previous outing.

Reagan (7-0) goes up against Johnson in a 5A Region IV District 26 game matchup next week, while MacArthur (1-7) locks horns with Lee also in a 5A Region IV District 26 game.
