Volleyball Game Preview: Hoke County Bucks vs. Fayetteville Academy Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Hoke County Bucks and the Fayetteville Academy Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Hoke County came up short against Freedom Christian Academy last Thursday, falling 3-0.

Hoke County took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Fayetteville Academy got the win against Alpha Academy on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

While Fayetteville Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-22.

Hoke County's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Fayetteville Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
